Marking 50 years of the IDF’s draft, a decision was made to present Defense Minister Ehud Barak with his photo, taken upon his induction in 1959. A modest ceremony was held during which IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-General Gabi Ashkenazi presented the minister with the photo.
