Teen sentenced for murder of UK Jewish activist


A teenager involved in the murder of British Jewish political activist Alan Senitt in Washington this summer was sentenced to six years in juvenile detention.

Senitt, a former leader of the British Union of Jewish Students, was murdered in cold blood on 9 July while in Washington DC.

The 27-year-old Senitt had been working in Washington as a campaign volunteer for former Virginia Governor Mark Warner.

The 15-year-old pleaded guilty to charges of felony murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, armed robbery and theft. He will be kept in detention until he reaches the age of 21.
