B’chasdei Hashem: IDF Report States Terror Declines in March 2016


zakaB’chasdei Hashem, according to information released by the IDF, Arab terrorism has declined in March 2016 as compared to months preceding. In fact, March was blei ayin hara the calmest month since November 2015 but this is not to say the situation is acceptable.

There were still five shooting attacks, eight stabbing attacks and two vehicular ramming attacks in Yehuda and Shomron and the Greater Yerushalayim area in March. However, as alarming as the numbers may be, this is down from seven shooting attacks, fourteen stabbing attacks and one vehicular ramming attack.

Rock-throwing and firebomb attacks are also down.

According to the IDF report, since the current wave of Arab attacks began on erev Rosh Hashanah 5776, the IDF has treated 185 injured Palestinians, 153 injured soldiers and 93 injured Israeli civilians.

According to the Israel Foreign Ministry terror watch list, 34 people were killed in attacks since Rosh Hashanah HY”D and over 400 Israelis injured. This includes over 200 stabbing attacks and attempted stabbings, over 80 shooting attacks and over 40 vehicular attacks.
