[VIDEO & PHOTO LINKS AT END OF ARTICLE] Early in the pre-dawn hours of the morning, people flocked to number 2 buses around the city of Yerushalayim as they made their way to daven vasikin at the Kosel. As the day was born the crowds at the Kosel continued to grow, reaching their peak at that magical moment of birchas kohanim. Gedolei Yisroel as well as the Chief Rabbis of Israel were by the Kosel for the event. YWN is pleased to present an essay of fine photographs and unique videos documenting this event.

Wow I was there! It was an unreal experience. I went last year and knew I had to come again. My friend just came in a few days ago for the first time and I told him that this was a “must do.” He came with me this morning and later told me that he “had goosebumps the whole time and at a certain point in the middle almost starting crying.” Mi keamcha yisrael!
