Noa, a daughter of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu from his first marriage, gave birth to a boy on Thursday morning. The news obviously is making headlines in Israel, even more so because his daughter is shomer shabbos, labeling the child “the son of chareidi parents” in some of the secular press, despite the fact the parents are not chareidi.
Mom, Noa, 26, is doing well and Daniel, the proud father, is also reportedly smiling and the tzibur awaits news of the bris. The prime minister and his wife Sara are expected to visit Noa and their new grandson sometime Thursday evening/night.

A big special mazal tov to the whole mishpacha.
Mazel Tov. By the way Mr. Netayahu, in case I forgot to tell you; great speech at the UN. You knocked it out of the ballpark!

Perhaps because they are not chareidi?
Bibi is slowly becoming the Begin of out times
Is the name Noa or Ruth?
Is the mother’s name Ruth or Noa?
is the mom named ruth or noa?
The Israeli media generally refer to Chasidim and Yeshivish black hatters as chareidim. The frum settlers are also generally called chareidim. national Religious party are not called chareidim even though they are shomrei torah umitzvos. Shas is also not generally called chareidim.
#7 The best we got, but still far from a Begin who had the Jewish conscience ingrained in him all the way.
Not throw cold water, but I thought that Bibi’s first wife was a shiksa. Am I mistaken?
That was his second wife..
#16 Yes you are mistaken, his first two wives were Jewish as is his third wife.
After hitting the “submit” button, I reminded myself that one of his former wives might have been a giyoiress.
#5— the word you want to use is contingent. A contingency is a plan. A contingent is a group of people 🙂
#16: According to wikipedia (that infallible, unbiased source), Netanyahu “has a daughter, Noa, from his first marriage to Micki Weizman. His second marriage was to Fleur Cates, who converted to Judaism because only her father was Jewish. He is now married to his third wife, Sara, with whom he has two sons: Yair and Avner.”
to #16. Actually Bibi’s second wife, Fleur Cates was not Jewish. His first wife was Micki Weizman and she was Jewish.
He has a daughter, Noa, from his first marriage to Micki Weizman. His second marriage was to Fleur Cates, who converted to Judaism because only her father was Jewish. He is now married to his third wife, Sara, with whom he has two sons: Yair and Avner. Also he is an einikle of the Vilna Gaon on his father’s side.
#16. Yes, your mistaken
#15. You have to admit hes come along way from his first go around as PM. Hes benefiting from the Obama disaster in that hes carrying the banner of freedom for the free world.
Am I the only one that thinks that a Mechallel Shabbos can hardly be a ידיד השם?
I think it is terrible that so often people post about their cheshbon of someone else’s jewishness. This is a very bad thing for many many reasons; and very foolish, to boot.
Who, upon examination, is towing a perfect record? Which two people have the same experience and background and inclinations and tikkun and on and on and on.
I am assuming those who have reached the level of being more devout would know the destructive endeavor of labeling a fellow Jew without some prophetic insight as to their life. And even then, their thoughts of the person should be constructive. Otherwise, labeling someone comes off as an arrogant and vane pursuit which is not befitting of someone who perceives themselves to be “better”.
