A 30-year-old Jerusalem man tried selling his three-month-old daughter for NIS 100,000 to cover his debts, as was reported by YWN-ISRAEL. He was unaware that he was making the sale to an undercover officer. He was sentenced to six months of community service and pay a NIS 7,000 fine.
The Jerusalem Magistrate Court handed down its verdict on Thursday, 21 Adar-II, and while the prosecution called for imprisoning the defendant, the court decided to go with community service.

The Israeli government has done it many times, for a lot less.
I hope the baby will be put in a foster home.
he should not raise his child if he thought to do such a
horrible thing.
I do not hope the child was taken away. Unless the mother also agreed to the sale.
I hope this kid never finds out about this… Imagine growing up knowing your parents tried to sell you for money.
Could be this guy was threatened that If he doesn’t pay his fine they will do somthing so he had no choice
