At least 27 suspects are in custody following a successful police undercover sting operation, which led to the apprehension of 108 kilograms (237.5 lbs) of cocaine from Panama.

The major operation was blacked out from the media, now cleared for release, and it involved police efforts in both Israel and Panama. The drugs were hidden in speakers. Officials add that the operation also assisted the state in recruiting a witness who will provide testimony against a prominent senior figure in an Israeli crime family.
