America’s NSA Chief Made a Secret Visit to Israel to Discuss Hizbullah Cyber Warfare


hezUnited States National Security Agency Chief Michael Rogers made a secret visit to Israel last week, Haaretz reported. The visit surrounds efforts for Israeli cooperation against cyber warfare threats from Hizbullah.

The report quotes a senior Israeli official who stated Admiral Rogers was a guest of the commander of the elite 8200 intelligence unit, citing Rogers heads the US Cyber Command.

The report explains that since Israel has already faced Hizbullah cyberattacks since 2014 during Operation Protective Edge in Gaza, and these attacks have since escalated.

During the secret visit Admiral Rogers did not visit with IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-General Gadi Eizenkott of the IDF Chief of Intelligence.
