AccuWeather meteorologists are tracking a possible spring snowstorm in the New York City area for this coming weekend — marking the first official day of spring with a little snow.

Meteorologist Lee Goldberg said the early track on the storm has it arriving Sunday morning and lasting through Monday morning. Sunday is the first day of spring.

The snow could arrive as early as Sunday afternoon. Right now, the models are showing quite a few differences in terms of timing and track. Combining that with the higher angle of the sun at this time of the year makes the forecast quite a challenge.
