Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz announced the newest section of the Yitzchak Rabin Highway, known widely as Kvish 6, will open on erev Shabbos 8 Adar-II.
The new section is part of the ongoing effort to extend the roadway from Beit Kama to Shoket. The new section includes the Dvira Interchange that will replace the old Dvira Junction and eliminate the traffic signal. The new section hooks into Route 325 that leads from Dvira to Lahav Lachish Rt. 40 via an interchange, permitting continued higher speed travel without traffic signals.
