1:13PM IL: An Arab terrorist described to be 40-50-years-old tried to stab a soldier he was speaking to near the S’dei Dov Base in Tel Aviv a short time ago. Unconfirmed reports place the location of the attempted attack at the intersection of Rokeach and Even Givrol Streets.

As they were speaking the attacker pulled a knife and tried to stab the soldier. The soldier Baruch Hashem was uninjured and the attacker fled.

Police have set up roadblocks and checkpoints in areas of N. Tel Aviv as a manhunt for the terrorist continues. Security has been heightened in the area of the base.

2:54PM IL: Police report the incident was not a terror attack but some type of altercation perhaps. Roads in the area have been reopened. Police have also questioned the soldier towards validating the integrity of his story.
