Swine Flu Vaccines Arrives in Israel

vaac5.jpgIt appears that some doses of swine flu vaccinations have already arrived in Israel, with the Maccabi and Clalit HMOs announcing one may receive a vaccine beginning next week, after Rosh Hashanah, without charge.

Healthcare providers are issuing a call to the elderly and the chronically ill of all age categories to come and receive a vaccine. It is also recommended that infants and children up to the age of 5 get vaccinated.

With the swine flu fears added to the concerns of regular winter flu, health officials are urging residents to come in and get vaccinated.
