Mrs. Yael Weissman, whose husband IDF Sgt. Yanai Tuvia Weissman HY”D was murdered by an Arab terrorist less than a month ago, is battling to perpetuate his memory as she believes it should be. She wants the words “fell in battle” written on his matzeivah in the military cemetery while the Ministry of Defense wants to write “killed in a terror attack”.
It has been established since the attack in a Rami Levi supermarket in Shar Binyamin in the Shomron, that Yanai ran to assist the victim of the stabbing attack and as a result, he was killed by the terrorist. While he was in the supermarket, he was a distance from the terrorist and ran over to come to the assistance of the first victim, getting into a battle with the terrorist.
Mrs. Weissman has been using social media to explain her position and in the hope of receiving public support for her battle.

the Zionists don’t even honor their heroes while allowing their enemies in the Knesset to honor THEIR heroes.
What she’s saying makes lots of sense. And even if it wouldn’t, do they not have רחמניות on this young אלמנה and just carry out her wish!
Bottom line: what’s the difference besides the wording?? Are their benefits, pensions or honors that are bestowed upon one more the other?
