IDF soldiers and agents of the Shin Bet on Tuesday apprehended Hamas’ Muhmad Harwish, the terror organization’s military commander in the Tulkarem area. Also arrested with the 26-year-old terror commander was his right-hand assistance, Idnan Saamra.

Harwish has been on the wanted list since 2004 for his part in the deadly Park Hotel suicide bombing attack on the first night of Pessach on March 27, 2002, which claimed the lives of 30 people, leaving over 140 injured, at least 20 seriously. He was already in PA custody in the past but was released.
