The heads of the parties that comprise the coalition in Knesset met on Sunday, 26 Adar-I with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to discuss the egalitarian prayer area near the Kosel. In attendance were Moshe Gafne (Degel Hatorah), Yaakov Litzman (Agudas Yisrael), Naftali Bennett (Bayit Yehudi), Aryeh Deri (Shas) and Moshe Kahlon (Kulanu). The chareidim used the forum to air their strong opposition to the cabinet decision to allocate the egalitarian prayer area.
The Chief Rabbis of Israel were to have joined the forum but this was canceled at the last moment after Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Shlita and Rabbi Dovid Lau Shlita spoke with Attorney General Dr. Avichai Mandelblit, deciding a new plan will be developed and presented to Mr. Netanyahu in two weeks.
It is reported the chareidi representatives are pushing the prime minister to back legislation intended to stop the continued foothold achieved by the Reform Movement in Israel of late.

Well why didn’t they vote against it when they were asked?
Where are the Dati Leumi?Only a few of their leaders have spoken up.It’s time to say “mi l’H alie?” like the Maccabees, we must fight the New Hellenism that wants to destroy Judaism.
