Firebombs were hurled at a shul in Habarovsk, Russia, in the eastern area of the country. Police investigators report the attack occurred on motzei shabbos. The firebombs were thrown through windows. While there were no injuries Baruch Hashem, damage was reported. The suspects face a maximum punishment of 5-years imprisonment, unless the prosecutor decides to charge them with attempted murder, which carries a maximum penalty of 23 years, the daily HaMevaser reports.
In Argentina, 58 tombstones were desecrated in a Jewish cemetery, including 8 graves belonging to victims of the 1994 terror attack against the Jewish Community building in Buenos Aires.
