Olmert’s Day in Court Begins on September 29th

Jerusalem District Court President Justice Mousya Arad announced the trial of former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his confidant Shula Zaken will open on September 29th. Olmert, who faces a multi-count indictment, related to a number of cases, including Rishon Tours and Talansky envelopes, will face a three justice panel including Arad, and Justices Moshe Sobel and Yaakov Tzaban.

The same three heard the pre-trial testimony of Moshe (Morris) Talansky as well. In a rare move, State Prosecutor Moshe Lador will lead the prosecution’s team.
