Jerusalem Police Chief Ilan Franco made a shiva visit to the home of Bentzion Oring, who lost his father Z”L, telling Oring that he is hopeful a solution pertaining to Karta parking lot will be found in the near future. Oring plays an active role as an emissary to Israel Police, representing the chareidi community in the capital. His remarks follow a recent meeting held between senior police commanders and Gavaad Eida Chareidis HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss Shlita, a meeting intended to lower tensions between police and the Eida and work towards mending strained relations.

“They think I am not pained. I told police not to strike protestors. At the end of the day, everyone will be held accountable” the commander added.
