Another Crib Death in Eretz Yisrael R’L


candle914EMS personnel of Friday morning 24 Adar-I responded to a call on Shimon Rokeach Street in the Beis Yisrael area of Yerushalayim. They found an infant in cardiac arrest.

CPR began and when paramedics arrived advanced life support was implemented as well. Unfortunately, they had to pronounced the child dead.

Officials report an average of 40 children die annually of crib death.

Senior Zaka official Rav Bentzi Oring reported on Friday afternoon they obtained a burial permit for the infant, who was from a family in the Toldos Aaron community. Kvura took place before Shabbos.

  1. Maybe we all need to investigate ourselves.
    Each and every tzara in klal Yisroel and the world-
    should be a cause for introspection, tefilla and teshuva.
