A 25-year-old chareidi male on a scooter was struck and killed by an Arab driver, who was driving a stolen car. The incident occurred on Thursday morning on Route 60 in Shomron near T Junction. The car thief was the subject of a police pursuit, with witnesses reporting he was driving at an excessive speed.

The victim was unable to get out of the way, and was hurled about 50 meters (yards) from the point of impact. The victim, according to Hatzolah members, is a resident of the Givat Shaul area of Yerushalayim. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver was eventually apprehended and taken into custody along with an occupant of the vehicle.
