A civilian who reported to police he saw an IDF soldier inside a traveling vehicle signal for assistance led to roadblocks around the city, with authorities unwilling to rule out the possibility that a soldier had been abducted. The alert was canceled in the afternoon, after a long day accompanied with major traffic snarls and long lines at impromptu inspection points.

Baruch Hashem, it appears the well-intended report was unfounded.
