It appears the new American administration has to muster some experience on a number of fronts, including how one should deal with the likes of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Ahmadinejad announced earlier this week that he welcomes the outstretched hand and offer of dialogue extended by President Barak Obama, but made it clear that such a process will be on Tehran’s terms, explaining there will be no discussion regarding demands that Iran halt its nuclear program and cease nuclear enrichment efforts, that continue at a brisk pace.

Despite continued calls for increased sanctions against Iran, and warning from the International Atomic Energy Agency, the White House appears determined to resolve the next world threat by dialogue. Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has already commented publicly on a number of occasions that the world turned a blind eye for too long and now the N. Korean threat is reality, and soon, Iran will join the list, posing a threat to the entire Mideast as well as Europe.

Adding to his brazen attitude, the Iranian leader stated in negotiations, one does not dictate timetables, once again sending a message of defiance to the White House after President Obama set the end of September as a deadline.
