Mrs. Sara Beigal, daughter of Rabbi Yaakov Litman HY”D and sister of Netanel HY”D spoke to the media regarding the decision of the government not to raze the home of the terrorist responsible for the murders of her father and brother. Their car came under a hail of gunfire in the Southern Hebron Hills on an erev Shabbos as they were heading to the Shabbos Chatan ahead of Sara’s chasenah. She expressed anger over the decision.

Sara told Galei Yisrael Radio that despite the fact the father of the terrorist turned him in, he was also aware what he son was going to do before the attack and he did not act. She explained if the dad really cared as he claims, he would have contacted authorities before the act, not after.

She explained that only after the attack the father realized the government has begun razing homes, and this compelled his actions but she feels this is insufficient for he did not act to prevent his son’s murderous actions. She feels the family should not be permitted to continue living in the area. She is outraged over the fact that the family is not being punished at all despite having had the ability to alert security agencies and possibly prevented the attack.

In a related matter, Iran announced on Wednesday, 15 Adar-I that it will pay to rebuild every home razed by Israel. This is in addition to payments and supplementary income given to families of slain terrorists by the PA (Palestinian Authority).
