It happened at the beachfront across Seagirt Blvd in front of Yeshiva Darchei Torah in Far Rockaway, New York.
A U.S. Coast Guard boat was trying to help a fishing vessel and it itself overturned very early Thursday morning.
Thankfully, all five members aboard the 25-foot boat were safe and accounted for.
The incident occurred at 5:17 AM.
Members of the crew made it ashore at Beach 19th Street, according to the FDNY spokesman.
The crew members on the fishing boat itself were also on shore by 6:00 AM.
Thankfully, no one was hurt.
It is unknown what caused the Coast Guard vessel to overturn.
Yeshiva Darchei Torah is an educational Institution serving students from preschool through Beis Medrash. It’s high school division is named Mesivta Chaim Shlomo.
