Two mortar shells fired from northern Gaza were fired into southern Israel on Sunday, landing in the Shar HaNegev Regional Council area. Baruch Hashem, here were no injuries or damage. The attack set off the Red Alert warning in Sderot as well, resulting in residents running to shelters for cover.

Over recent days, there has been a significant increase in attacks, including Kassam rocket attacks on shabbos. The attacks resulted in the IAF targeting weapons smuggling tunnels in Gaza.
