In a move spearheaded by Aryeh King of the Land of Israel Forum, rabbonim will gather on Monday to discuss the alarming trend – the significant increase in the sale of land in Yerushalayim to Arabs, especially in the French Hill area. The rabbis are expected to issue a proclamation against the sale of land in Eretz Yisrael to non-Jews.

Among the prominent rabbonim expected to sign are Rav Menachem Porush, Rav Shmuel Eliyahu (chief rabbi of Tzfas) and Rabbi Yaakov Yosef. 

The gather is a sign of achdus, as chareidi and dati leumi rabbonim are expected to work together to halt the dangerous trend of Arabs moving into Jewish areas of the Jewish capital.
