Petach Tikvah’s Dati Leumi community PTA is calling on city schools to stop their discriminatory policy towards members of Israel’s Ethiopian Jewish community. They explain that 90% of the Ethiopian students are in 5 of the city’s 40 schools, numbering 647 last year compared to 63 students in the others schools, which are “recognized” but not officially part of the public school system. 

Nir Auerbach is seeking to enlist widespread support against what he views as an unacceptable discriminatory practice.
