In Jerusalem, officials believe that US President Barak Obama will take advantage of the UN General Assembly podium to announce his Mideast regional peace plan.

Undoubtedly, the plan will demand an Israeli construction freeze throughout Yehuda and Shomron, while the president is expected to demand the PA enter into serious negotiations with Israel.

The daily Yisrael HaYom reports that while Israel is not anxious over such a possibility, officials would agree to a leadership summit, something along the lines of the Madrid summit which led to the Oslo Agreement.
