Donald Trump’s plane was diverted to the Nashville International Airport after the control tower received a report that the plane was experiencing engine trouble.
News outlets report that the Republican presidential candidate made a brief stop in Tennessee on Wednesday afternoon as he and members of his campaign boarded a smaller aircraft to complete their trip from New York to Little Rock, Arkansas.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Arlene Salac says the FAA is investigating the incident. Officials haven’t said how long Trump’s Boeing 757 plane was on the ground.
Trump campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks says the delay was caused by a “minor mechanical issue.”

Watch Trump blame Ted Cruz.
I’ll bet Ted Cruz did it. Per Trump’s playbook anyway.
It had to do with Trump’s cruzing attitude.
They went to pick up the Jewish people who were not allowed on the other flight.
Trumped up Charges about Cruz Control
@DikDukDuck – People will still talk about this story 30 years from today!
Hey people, Cruz didn’t do it.
Watch Trump the Chump blame it on Bush, just like the old days.
Too bad the crew didn’t need to lighten the load before landing. They could have tossed Chump out of the cockpit door and save the cost of landing.
I’m not a big fan of Trump although I most say that I do like his Wall idea lol, but those negative comments here about Trumps plane making an emergency landing is nothing less than jealousy. People get over it, he has a lot of money and success in business.
