Ichud HaLeumi MK Dr. Michael Ben-Ari on Sunday called for the suspension of Tel Aviv District Court Justice Gilad Neutal for his decision to release a 17-year-old female suspect in the Friday night beating death of Leonard Karp to house arrest, rejecting a police request not to release her from incarceration.
Ben-Ari points out that the same judge in another situation not too long ago imposed restrictions on a Chevron [right-wing] youth, a female juvenile too, for violating an arrest order but in this case, he ignores a police request and opts to release a suspect allegedly involved in a violent homicide.
