While the PA (Palestinian Authority) and European community continues efforts to label the actions of IDF soldiers during Operation Cast Lead ‘war crimes’, added to last week’s Human Rights Watch report alleging Israeli soldiers killed civilians waving white flags during the counter-terrorism offensive, once again, we see that in Hamas-controlled Gaza, life does not have the same value as in civilized communities.
Over the weekend, at least 25 people were killed in faction fighting between Hamas gunmen and rival gunmen affiliated with al-Qaeda. Reports from Gaza indicate members of the al-Qaeda faction on Friday called on Gaza residents to express their allegiance to Osama bin-Laden, leading to the feud.
A report from Gaza states that Hamas representatives entered a mosque in an effort to halt the fighting, but one of the al-Qaeda terrorists detonated a bomb, an explosive he was wearing on his body. Hamas terrorists responded with automatic weapons fire and hand grenades, directed at the mosque.
Eyewitness reports state Hamas security agents then detonated the mosque with the people inside.
