The investigation into the training accident in the IDF’s Tzeilim base that led to the death of Nachal Chareidi Captain Yishai Russels z”l has resulted in the expulsion of six officers from the IDF.
Investigators presented IDF Chief of Staff Lt.-General Gadi Eizenkott with their findings, and the IDF commander decided to dismiss six officers from military service as a result. Among the officers ousted is the commander of the 75th Battalion, his deputy, and a deputy company commander.
