A Kassam rocket was fired into the Eshkol region of southern Israel on Sunday. Towards evening, mortar shells were fired at Erez Crossing at a Gaza ambulance was transporting a critically ill cardiac patient to the crossing to be moved to an Israeli hospital. There were no injuries.

The air force launched a raid in retaliation for the attack and a Kassam attack earlier on Sunday. No injuries in the rocket attacks.
