No Israelis or Jews Among Injured or Dead in Thai Plane Crash [UPDATED 1:14PM IL]


ywbn2.gif12:55PM IL: A Bangkok Airline flight that crashed in Thailand on Tuesday is believed to have been carrying about 20 Israelis according to Israeli media reports. According to the limited information, the front of the aircraft sustained heavy damage resulting in the death of a pilot and injuries among passengers in the front rows. The Israelis were apparently seated further back on the aircraft.

According to Chabad shaliach R’ Mendy Goldsmith, there are no known Israelis among the injured. He added that the passenger manifest lists “six names of Israelis or Jews” but to the best of his knowledge, they were not among those transported to hospitals.

1:14PM IL: Foreign Ministry officials in Jerusalem quoted by Maariv report there were no Israelis on the Bangkok Airline that crashed in Thailand. The report states all passengers on board were local citizens. This despite earlier reports of Israelis and Jews on board the flight. Haaretz’s website reports one Israeli sustained light injuries. According to one news report in Israel, the plane slid out of control due to weather conditions during landing.

    There are plenty of israeli’s that are not jewish. Living in Israel doesnt make you a JEW!!
    By the way, I am JEWISH AND NOT NOT NOT ISRAELI
