Baruch Hashem, the fire that erupted on Sunday night on Chafetz Chaim Street in Yerushalayim did not lead to injuries or worse. Despite the intense flames on the scene, fire officials report there were no injuries. Neighbors report that at about 10:20pm, they heard a powerful explosion, which was followed immediately by the flames.
Baruch Hashem, residents managed to flee the burning structure before firefighters arrived on the scene.
While fire marshals report the gas cylinders caused the blaze, they did not explain what caused the gas containers to explode.
