Minister of Communications Moshe Kahlon was somewhat surprised last Friday night when a number of people gathered outside his home to hold a protest. They were from a TV station about to close. The minister, who “tries not to transgress the Shabbos” the weekly BaKehilla reports, went out to greet the protestors and explained their timing was off since this is not acceptable Shabbos activity. He offered them two options, to come in and join him for kiddush and the shabbos meal or to disperse. They opted for the latter and returned on motzei shabbos.
