Following a short, but intense manhunt in Northern Israel, a female Palestinian terrorist was apprehended before being able to harm anyone.

Police intelligence learned of her plans and an alert was announced in the northern coastal area, with an emphasis on Nahariya.

Checkpoints were set up throughout the area, and police began checking cars and buses.

A Photo of the terrorist was distributed by Police, and quickly went viral on social media.

B’chasdei Hashem the suspect was apprehended in a taxi or just getting into one on HaChalutz Street in Nahariya, thereby preventing yet another Palestinian terror attack and bringing an end to the terror alert.

Police identified her as Fatmah Azbarga, 28, from Jerusalem and Taibeh.
