Hagon HaRav Chaim Kanievsky was admitted to the Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital in Bnei Brak on Motzei Shabbos, after not feeling well over Shabbos.
The Posek Hador did not Daven in the nearby Lederman Shul on Shabbos as he always does due to feeling weak. Instead a Minyan was made for him in his house.
After his doctor visited his home, it was decided to have him taken to the hospital for tests.
Later on Motzei Shabbos it was decided to have him admitted to the hospital for treatment and observation.
It appears that he is suffering from the flu.
The tzibur is urged to be mispallel for Shmaryahu Yosef Chaim ben Pesha Miriam bsoch sha’ar cholei yisrael.

He should have a refuah shelamah. Not too many rabbonim of Kanievsky’s gadlus are still around from the pre-War Alte Heim generation.
