The infant suffered a serious head injury. A caretaker admitted to shaking him a number of times to awaken the infant. Police are viewing the case as criminal negligence.
The woman who was taking care of the child was released from jail with restrictions earlier in the week. When the child arrived in Hadassah he was already in critical condition. The medical team suspected a head injury and alerted the police, an investigation was launched and the woman admitted to her actions.
