Education Minister Naftali Bennett announced plans to create Israel’s first Arab College, which will be located in an Israeli Arab municipality. He proudly announced the Council for Higher Education has already met on the matter, and the process is underway to approve the plan and to allocate the necessary budget.
Bennet feels the move is necessary to fill the void in the Israeli Arab community and towards reducing the gaps that exist between the Israeli Jewish and Arab communities.
