Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told his close associates that he already told American officials that regarding Israel’s sovereignty over Yerushalayim, he will not accept White House dictates the daily Yisrael HaYom reports. The statements follow Sunday’s public statements by the prime minister in support of a planned project that will result in 20 housing units for Jews in the Shimon HaTzaddik area of the capital, referred to by the United States as “occupied East Jerusalem, the Sheikh Jarrah area”.
The prime minister was adamant in his statements that he will not accept discriminatory policies, not against Jews or Arabs, explaining the international community would not sit silent if a policy was announced prohibiting Jews to acquire land in European countries. He said the same holds true for Jews in Jerusalem, as is the case with Arabs.
Some fear the latest clash may significantly raise tensions between Jerusalem and Washington, and of course the Knesset has taken expected positions, aligning with the left and right.
Supporting the prime minister was Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, who pointed out that thousands of Arabs purchase land in Jerusalem and he has never commented negatively regarding this reality, rejecting US President Barak Obama’s attempt to halt Israeli construction in areas of the capital.
The prime minister stated that Jerusalem is the undivided capital of the Jewish People, and it will remain as such, rejecting any attempt by the United States to place the capital in the same category as areas throughout Yehuda and Shomron.

He might have more credibility if Israel, preferably with broad support from the all parties, announced it would no longer accept American foreign assistance (much of which is in the form of subsidies to purchase over-priced American goods), and that Israel was raising taxes and cutting services and becoming independent of the US.
That would increase employment in Israel, since much of the “aid” is really dumping (selling American goods below cost to deter Israel from manufacturing themselves).
Akuperma:Make up your mind.
These American goods are either “overpriced” or sold “below cost”. But not both.
Regarding the US: This country is not Obama, nor is the Kenyan the US. He is a Shin Daled who appeared out of nowhere.
I can’t believe I actually agree with most of what akuperma said this time! I would even go one step further and say that Israel should start charging America for use of its port facilities, for acting as a forward base in the Middle East for America’s military, for battle testing much of america’s military hardware, AND IMPROVING it. If Israel did these things we would not have to come as a shnorrer to America for hand-outs, but as a valued ally.
#2 – if an American plane is overprices, and the US wants to sell it below cost, is subsidizes it. Thus the Israelis wanted to build a fighter plane costing 2X dollars per plane. The Americans wanted Israel to buy an American plane costing 3X per plane. So the American Treasury pays 2X per plane as “foreign aid”, and now the American model costs only 1X to the Israelis. So they Israelis get the plane, the Americans say they are “helping” the Israelis by giving them 2X in aid, the American workers are employed, the Israeli workers get screwed, and American Jews are so happy how much “aid ” Israel received.
It should be noted that most foreign aid benefits the donor more than the recipient, but that’s a different issue.
wasn’t it natanyahu who when he was PM last time threatened the usa that he wouldn’t take usa aid & the usa came crawling back?? the only problem is that this time the rosha obama really isn’t interested in EY being there. Rev Wrong taught him well.
How can you trust anyone connected to the illuminati? He was raised by them and must prove he broke ties with them. Lets stop putting our heads in the sand and realize who our so called leaders are.
