It began with MK Moshe Gafne accusing the Bayit Yehudi party of stealing funds intended for chareidi institutions. This was followed by Bayit Yehudi MK Betzalel Smotrich announcing, “It’s sad, but Gafne is a liar”.
On Wednesday evening, 4 Teves, Bayit Yehudi leader Naftali Bennet spoke to Kol Berama Radio, insisting allegations that hesder talmidim receive more funding than talmidim in chareidi yeshivos are unfounded. Bennet insists that any claims to the contrary are not based in fact.
Bennet then shifted the conversation to Gafne, who serves as chairman of the Knesset Finance Committee. “I am not going to address his allegations. I think that he errs with his conduct. I work just fine with Deri and with Litzman as well as my deputy minister, Meir Porush. I do not understand why he needs to argue. His line, looking at the dati leumi community and settlers as if we are some type of disaster. Should I attack the chareidim? One does not have to argue with one another all the time. I prefer to work with people of peace who seek the peaceful path and not one of dispute”.
Bennet then spoke of his relations with the other chareidi parties, explaining how they have accomplished a great deal by working together for the chareidim and education, without augments. “I suggest that everyone follow the path of Litzman and Porush, to find solutions and I estimate that we will solve the problems”.

Why do u discriminate against the cities of Beitar Ilit and Modiin Ilit with the funds u receive for settlements in Yehuda and Shomron!!! These 2 cities make up some 50%C of the population there – is it because they r Charedi
It is a well known fact that Hesder Yeshivot receive double funding in many areas and Gafne knows better than anyone else what goes on with the monetary allocations. This has apparently been going on for yrs but was not brought up until Bennett and Co (Yair Lapid ) decided to go against the Charedim
Now that the wheels are turned he doesn’t like it

Check the budgets of the last few coalitions & u will find that Bennet is speaking truth. When the DL PARTIES were in the opposition Gafne, financial minister bled them to the bone. Torah is Torah & yeshivos of all stripes should be on equal basis..
