YWN regrets to inform you of the Petirah of Mrs. Sarah Baron A”H, who was Niftar this morning following an illness. She was 58-years-old.
Mrs. Baron A”H is the wife of Bais Hatalmud Magid Shiur Reb Moshe Baron, son-in-law of the previous Rosh Yeshivah, Reb Yisroel Perkovsky Zatzal. Her brother, Reb Chaim Leib is the current Rosh Yeshivah. Another brother, Reb Chanoch, is a son-in-law- of Lakewood Mashgiach Reb Matisyahu Solomon Shlita.
Mrs. Baron was a legendary teacher in Bais Yaakov of Boro Park for many years.
The Levaya will be taking place at 1:45 PM today, Thursday, in front of Yeshivah Bais Hatalmud, 2127 82nd Street, between Bay Parkway and 21st Street, in Bensonhurst.

I had her as a teacher in Bais Yaakov of Boro Park in 4th grade. She was really wonderful to me, and I was not her easiest student. She would try so hard, with varying degrees of success, to keep me engaged in the lessons and I felt her love and caring very deeply. I still remember her lesson on Yosef’s brother’s tearing off his coat.

I just returned from a very emotional Levayah for Sara Bas Yisroel in front of Bais Yaakov. I can’t believe she is no longer with us!
In addition to her being a teacher, she also ran the library in Bais Yaakov. I am forever indebted to her for making my kids feel so special! I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that she made every child feel as if they were the only ones!
My daughter’s loved to hang around the library and she always made them feel special,like their second home! We loved her so much! We have suffered a tremendous loss!
May she be a Mailitz Yosher for all of us!
