Minister Wants to Ease Handgun Licensing Restriction for Chareidi IDF Vets

idffMinister of Public Security Gilad Erdan has taken preliminary steps towards relaxing restrictions for chareidim living in chareidi communities who served in the IDF and wish to receive a handgun permit. Erdan explained it is clear that during this ongoing wave of Islamic terror, many chareidim have been targeted.

“This initiative will provide a response to the fact there are few people with weapons in chareidi areas”. Erdan stressed that properly trained civilians significantly contribute to fighting terrorism.

The Nachal Chareidi nonprofit is preparing a list of its former soldiers currently living in chareidi communities to assist expediting the process. This list will be given to Israel Police.

    Should be armed.

an unarmed chareidi community in America is sitting duck for terrorists attacks.

It seems the community is waiting for an attack before they will seek more protection.
