Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu recently adopted a dog, Kaiya, a ten-year-old half-breed. It appears his new canine family member does not fare well when there are too many visitors as Kaiya took a bite out of two guests attending a Wednesday night 27 Kislev Chanukah event in his home. The victims were the husband Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotevely and MK Sharren Haskel, both from Likud.

When asked to comment on the incident, Haskel told Galei Tzahal (Army Radio) the incident was nothing to be alarmed over. Interestingly, she has worked as a veterinary nurse.

After adopting the dog earlier this year, the prime minister urged Israelis to do the same, promising them “you will not be sorry”.
