The Netzach Yishai nonprofit launched the ‘Atzmaut’ sewing factory in Arad, which will provide employment for over 30 chareidi women in Arad. Among the work that the factory has received is sewing IDF uniforms.
The factory began operating on Thursday morning, 28 Kislev. Taking part in the ceremony were Health Minister Yaakov Litzman, Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein, Rabbi Tzvi Bialitztotzky, a local rav, Rav of the Gerre Kehilla in Arad Rabbi Mordechai Volkowitz and the city’s mayor.
Persons involved in setting up the factory explains it provides a welcome solution to assist frum families in the area to earn a livelihood as well as offering a workplace environment that meets their modesty standards.
