Released arch terrorist Samir Kuntar, who was set free by Israel; in the Goldwasser/Regev prisoner exchange deal, told al-Jazeera TV that Hizbullah remains firmly committed to supporting Iran, and as such, the terror organization would act in the event Israel launches a military strike against Iran.
Referring to Tehran as a “pillar of Islam”, the released terrorist added that Hizbullah has yet to avenge the 2008 assassination of senior commander Imad Mugniyeh, who was killed in a car bomb attack in Damascus which Hizbullah blames on Israel.
