6:30am: 18 people were injured in a vehicular accident between a private and commercial vehicle at Carmel Jct. on Route 85. Three victims are reported in moderate condition and the remainder light. The victims were transported to Nahariya Hospital and Ziff Hospital in Tzfas.

According to preliminary police information, one of the drivers ran a traffic signal, thereby slamming into the other car.
