Shortly before 8:00 AM this morning, Tuesday 19 Kislev, an Arab terrorist at Gush Etzion Junction tried to perpetrate a stabbing attack. IDF soldiers opened fire at the terrorist, neutralizing him. He died of his wounds a short time later.

One civilian was passing the junction in his vehicle was lightly wounded by shrapnel from the IDF gunfire. He is described in his 40s, transported in a MDA ambulance to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Yerushalayim.

There is an extremely heavy presence of IDF soldiers at this junction, which was targeted in numerous terror attacks in recent weeks. END of summation.

07:57: The updated report from the scene explains the injured person was wounded in a hand from gunfire directed at the terrorist. B”H his injuries are described as light. It is unknown at this time if the terrorist was wounded or killed but the threat has been neutralized.

08:07: Magen David Adom reports a male in his 40s is being is being transported to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital with a hand injury. His condition is reportedly light.

At the scene of the attack it is reported the terrorist has been killed.
