Honenu officials on Monday afternoon 18 Kislev reported that the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) arrested a 19-year-old Jewish teen from his home, asking his father to accompany them as well. When they arrived at the ISA Jerusalem facility the teen was told he is under arrest and will not be released.

Honenu adds the father spoke to one of the agents and the latter tried to persuade him to speak to his son and encourage him not to remain silent, but to cooperate. The son or his father have not been told why he was arrested.

Honenu adds that this latest arrest brings the number of Jews under administrative detention or restrictions to about 40.
